We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong understanding of kitchen operations, and the ability to work well under pressure. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes according to our recipes and standards, ensuring each plate is of the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients.
- Ensure that food is cooked to the correct temperature and consistency.
- Plate dishes in an attractive and consistent manner, paying attention to portion sizes and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all safety and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and other prep tasks as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or needs to the kitchen manager or chef.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in preparation and presentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Being bi-lingual is a plus
- Must be available Sunday-Thursday (Lunch & Dinner)
