Ava's Pizzeria & Wine Bar in St. Michaels, MD is in search of a motivated and experienced professional to step into the role of General Manager. This position entails learning and instilling the Ava’s concept and standards throughout the staff, as well as utilizing previous restaurant experience to think critically, onboard and train new staff, and handle challenges as they arise. The individual in this role must be a strong leader, have excellent communication skills, and exude and inspire a positive demeanor.

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the following areas:

Sales and costs
Food quality
Exceptional service and guest satisfaction
Staffing and scheduling
Onboarding and training new staff
Employee motivation and engagement
Atmosphere and cleanliness

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Ava’s Hospitality Group began in 2008 with the opening of its first restaurant, Ava’s Pizzeria & Wine Bar, in St. Michaels, Maryland. Sixteen years later, our group has grown to include two more Ava's locations in Cambridge, MD and Rehoboth, DE, along with Theo's Steaks, Sides & Spirits in St. Michaels, MD and Rehoboth, DE and Hammy's Burgers & Shakes in Rehoboth, DE.
