Ava's Pizzeria & Wine Bar in St. Michaels, MD is seeking a motivated Sous Chef to join our kitchen team! The Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef/General Manager in maintaining kitchen operations, from food preparation and quality control to inventory and physical maintenance. The ideal candidate for this role is a natural leader with previous supervisory experience, as well as experience with high-volume cooking. He/She cares deeply about good food and exceeding quality standards to create memorable dining experiences, as well as being able to manage multiple priorities and contribute to a friendly and productive team atmosphere. Current ServSafe certification is a plus.
